January 29,1997 Mr. Robert W. Kuswa, President BK Enterprises P.O. Box 8702 Mandeville, LA 70470-8702 Dear Mr. Kuswa: Bailey Refrigeration discussed with BK Enterprises the problems the industry has been having with the new refrigerant R134-A. It is more difficult to drop temperatures to the desired level. Even after replacing components within our system, we are unable to get the results we want. A solution was offered by BK Enterprises, a dehumidification filter called the Freezer Control unit. It comes in two different sizes and the correct number to install depends on the total cubic footage of the freezer. They can also be custom made. The Freezer Control units manufactured by BK Enterprises were installed with no difficulty. Seven days after the installation, the freezer temperature dropped from -4 degrees to -14 degrees and has maintained the desired range of temperature even in the tropical water off Cancun and Jamaica. They also manufacture filters specifically formulated to go into produce coolers, reach-in coolers, etc. We, at Bailey Refrigeration, are pleased to recommend the BK product line to the refrigeration industry as a solution to an ongoing problem with R134-A refrigerant. Sincerely, BAILEY REFRIGERATION OF NEW ORLEANS Donald J. Booth General Manager DJB/kb |
